Rememberance Day Service
The School Council plus the headboys and headgirls attended a specia memorial service as the Remembrance weekend commences.
All the Catholic schools from the Deanery joined together alongside other Newham schools to stand together and remember those that have died for the freedom we have today. We were reminded not to take that for granted. Members of the local council joined us and the British Legion, talking to the children after about their experience of losing loved ones to war.
The head boys, girls and school council represented our school at the Newham Remembrance Day service. We remembered all those who had lost their lives to war and conflict particularly those who fought in WWI which ended 100 years ago on 11th November 1914.
