Kempton Races

Year 6 recently visited Kempton Park racecourse for a day of practical Maths activities. The children learned about measurements (imperial and metric), estimating, averages and more. The children then got to watch a few races and see the jockeys with their horses in post-race interviews. The children thoroughly enjoyed the day and saw how maths is used in everyday life.
