Catholic Life

As a Catholic primary school, St Helen’s aims to promote Gospel values in our work together and learning.

This is encompassed in our mission statement.

United by its Catholic faith, St. Helen's is a multicultural school, committed to developing the spiritual, academic and social potential of each child.

When we teach the children about our school's mission we use the below version.

St. Helen's is a Catholic School, learning about God, our world and living in harmony with each other.

May Procession & Coronation

On Friday 5th May we celebrated our annual May Procession and the Coronation of King Charles III. We had a day of activities planned by the School Council and our Prefects. We dressed as Kings & Queens or in our party clothes.

In the afternoon, we had a procession for the Crowning of the May Queen - Queen of Heaven. We lined the playground and waved our flowers, then processed to the church for Mass.

After Mass, we invited the parishioners to after tea in the hall. The Mini Vinnies helped to serve the parishioners and entertained them too. Click here to see more photos.
