Stone Age Workshop - Westham Park

The children enjoyed travelling to West Ham Park on the minibuses to attend the Stone Age workshop. Using sticks, twigs and leaves, they made the temporary styles of shelters the Stone age people had, building on their understanding that people in the Stone age moved around following the animals they were hunting. They were also able to warm their hands by using a fire steel to light a small fire.
