- Executive Functioning focus on Daisy the Dove
- Elicit pupils’ ideas through questioning, discussion, or pre-assessments
- Identify common misconceptions in the subject area
- Use explicit explanations, demonstrations, and examples to challenge misconceptions
- Encourage pupils to compare and contrast correct concepts with misconceptions
- Provide feedback and corrective practice to reinforce accurate understanding
- Revisit and reinforce correct concepts over time
- Say it again better, do it again better
- Provide exemplars with common misconceptions to work through
- Pre-empt and overhear common misconceptions
