Year 6 Camping 2021 - Day 1

The year 6 pupils from St Helen’s and St Joachim’s have arrived safely at their camp site. They have already begun their science lessons and other activities including - habitat investigations, classifications of plants and insects, orienteering, Forest School, and archery.
The weather is perfect and this evening we will enjoy a camp fire and sing song!

Year 6 Camping Trip - Day 2

More outdoor learning today in the glorious sunshine, making shelters, seats and fires from the natural environment. We have also been on a walk on the South Downs. It is beautiful to see the English Countryside and have time in the fresh air.

Year 6 Camping - Day 3
Another lovely day full of activities today as well as a walk on the beach to the famous Seven Sisters Cliffs. We have enjoyed games & crafts in our free time too.

Year 6 Camping Trip - Day 4
On our last day we have packed up and tidied the campsite. We had a Liturgy Service to spend time in prayer, being grateful for all the wonderful gifts we have been given from God. We have reflected on our week here. All the new friends we have made and new experiences we have had. Throughout the week, each day we had a range of activities and each evening a different entertainment. We had a campfire, bingo and film night.
