Delivering Phonics Training
Our English Lead, KS1 Phase Leader and the Deputy Headteacher all delivered Phonics training to St Angela's Catholic Secondary School. Supporting them with phonics as a skills into reading. The teachers were all really receptive to the training and found practical tips for quick uses in the classroom useful. Feedback after the session was that teachers reportedly felt far more confident and as we move into 2026/27 we have agreed to host teachers to come and observe phonics sessions.
