Writing and Handwriting
We place considerable emphasis on the development of handwriting, letter formation, posture, pencil grip, spelling and sentence construction. Through the implementation of the Nelson Handwriting Scheme, consistent modelling and regular opportunities for purposeful writing, children develop the automaticity and confidence needed to become successful writers across the curriculum.
