French Trip 2026

Our annual Year 4 trip to France offers pupils an unforgettable cultural experience. Crossing the English Channel by ferry, the children travel to Boulogne to visit our partner school, École Notre Dame. They have the opportunity to finally meet their French pen pals in person, share lunch, practise their conversational skills and play games together. The adventure continues in Boulogne's historic Old Town, where the children put their teamwork and observation skills to the test during an interactive treasure hunt. They also gain real-world confidence using their Euros to order food at local cafés before heading back to St. Helen’s full of wonderful memories, and eager to keep using their French!
